3 shares cost about 1.6 billion when I got in.

I was looking at UNH yesterday and was thinking I hadn’t heard any new bad news out of them in a couple weeks that maybe I should grab some for long term

Was wondering recently if Buffet was going to buy some UNH since it was down so much and he was complaining about not being able to find some value plays as of late. That's probably what's made it pop this week.

Just wonder if this is the so called mystery stock Berkshire has been accumulating?
They've filed a couple of disclosure forms and listed a holding as confidential.

Yep, my June 2026 $400 call was not looking good, but I did pick up 100 shares a couple of days ago at 249 after selling some PLTR after earnings. It’s good to have an after hours surprise to the upside!

Can’t wait to see the analyst mental gymnastics in the coming days.

Saw one of the firms set a buy rating a couple weeks ago with a 12 month target of $320.

All I could think was where could I get a job finding stocks to recommend where all they need to do is return to their price from 45 days earlier.

Seems odd doesn't it. That they would all jump on it at the same time.

The stock is up overb$68 per share this week. Thats a heck of a profit

…I guarantee Smackover is screaming at the clouds right now, and that negative sentiment is a bad sign for all of us.

I think this is one of those unusual events where it actually hurts the stock’s value over the mid term to have all those names involved.

By virtue of its size and profitability alone, UNH could rightsize its share price any time it wants. But, the public hates them and they need to keep a low profile.

In a perfect world they would hang back, quietly complain about government reimbursement rates and mention layoffs, then they discontinue health plans in targeted regions.

After several months, the government will get nervous the remaining plans are unable to fill the gaps and the entire industry is offered incentives.

At that time they buybacks are started, earnings per share increase, and share price recovers.
