Gary Vee who scammed against retail and colluded with Logan Paul to promote NFT garbage on their followers that they rug pulled during the crypto craze in 2021-2022 time frame.

I am sure he is living just fine.

Probably promoting another poop coin so he can make some real cash

Boomers didn’t have to pay $350 for NFL Sunday Ticket.

TIL mistakes made in the past should stand in the way of good advice

Would be nice if someone made a proverb about it, maybe something involving pearls & swine

At the core of GaryVee, his thesis is ownership, which most people, especially in the younger generation (I'm 33 so I think I can say that as I'm lumped into it still) lack.

How he says it may be a bit far fetched sometimes, but the core is always true. Don't complain. Take ownership. Live within your means. Work hard. Etc. It's just a different version of all the same stuff.

Used to love GV in the early social days. I garaged saled before he made it seem cool. He never wavers in his philosophy.

It’s best to cherry pick all the best ideas of these financial “gurus”

One of the bittersweet events of my life was the NFL deciding it no longer wanted my business.

We would watch 2 or 3 games every week. During the playoffs, with all the coverage, we would have the NFL on, literally all weekend. I watched many MNF games.

Haven't watched a full NFL game in years. Not even the Superbowl.

I don't even miss it.

Boomers only had 3-4 channels and had to get off the couch to switch the TV to another channel.

gary is a great motivator for most his age( us GEN Xers) and even younger crowd such as yourself. when most give up he says keep going. learn a new skill. start a business. you are going to fricking die anyway. do something! . he is not wrong. most are too scared to act. It has to do with the human condition. many are scared to take any risks and stay trapped and unhappy with their lives. successful people who take huge risks have to go against how we are hard wired. It is a constant struggle.

Congrats?

Not sure I would call ripping people off a "mistake." It is interesting that you want to invoke a bible passage though. Rip people off first then just pray and ask for forgiveness. Who's the swine?

Suffice it to say, we don't even watch all the LSU games now.

It is what it is.

Boomers did not have 7 passenger vehicles with 5 figure incomes.

Nor get Botox or their nails and hair done with such high frequency

Nor go to Disneyworld like it is annual pilgrimage

Nor flood their kids with Lululemon because they are guilty parents for choosing to outsource the raising of them to a daycare, nanny or out of state summer camp.

Gary Vee got lucky and then acts like he is Warren Buffett. I don't think he gives bad advice, but he's had some terrible financial takes.

My mother had a Hoover vacuum. When the Hoover rep tried to sell me one years ago, he wanted $2,000

I had to downsize to a Dyson, so Gary Vee can frick off. He doesn't now my struggles of fellow GenXr's

Sure they did.

Again, they absolutely did. Ever heard of a minivan?

What the frick? Boomers/genx drive the entire botox market. Those two groups account for 75% of the botox market.

Seems like common sense, but of course it isn't
