Jeez Louise! That's a ton of money. But Kansas needs all the help they can get.

did you read the article
sounds like most of it will go to facilities and to help sustain the revenue stream going forward, in other words Kansas doesn't have enough money to make full revenue share

They needed this just to finish the football stadium. This wont really help anything beyond that.

Miles could've had even darker hair with that money.Posted on 8/13/25 at 12:54 pm to Htxtiger17
I pray that if I'm ever in a position to donate $300 million that I choose to donate it to help those in need or cancer research and not to the football team that I cheer for.

Second. I enjoy sports very much and this guy has every right to spend his money how he sees fit, but donating that much to a football program seems like such a shallow cause comparatively speaking.

I'ma get dinged or sent to the PT for saying this....but I think trickle down economics works. It's just...the trickle is going into sports and entertainment.

If I had Elon money I would donate a few billion to my favorite college football program.

To be fair nobody knows any of the other charitable endeavors this guy has taken on

The Les Miles tenure at Kansas will be very forgettable.

$75 million going to football stadium. $225 million going to football in some form or fashion for future NIL deals and such. That’s a lot of Jack.

It's more like a payment to get his arse kissed and less of a true donation.

Instead of winning 4 games every year Kansas will now win 5.
