He’s been mentioned in every fall camp report for making big plays, and looking at his stats from last year, it’s clear Kentucky didn’t use him to his full potential.
• Receptions (REC): 29
• Receiving Yards (YDS): 361
• Yards per Reception (AVG): 12.4
• Receiving Touchdowns (TD): 3
• Rushing:
• Attempts: 13

Where there is this much smoke there is a raging inferno.
It certainly feels like he's going to have an electric year

Good luck to the safety that has to make the choice between helping over the top on Brown or Hilton

From the information I have gathered, he is a receiver that can make catches in tight coverage but can break away and score. Not the receiver to try man coverage on.

His speed is 99 on CFB26

quote:This brings up a good point on why our offense should be much improved. Last year, we did not have a guy that could take the top off a defense until Hilton emerged in games 12 and 13. In 2025, we have TWO guys that can smoke DBs. This is going to force teams to drop 2 safeties as opposed to the single and no high safety looks that we saw all last year. That will help the run game tremendously attacking a box with only 5 or 6 guys rather than the 7 or 8 guys we sometimes had to run against in 2024. Durham may have the benefit that Clyde did in 2019 of having tons of room to run. God I'm so pumped for 8/30

It’s giving Johnathan Giles vibes

Brown and Hilton going double vertical while Green drags across the middle for a perfectly placed ball in stride for a big TD is gonna hit so hard.

His QB was Vandagriff last 2 years who was atrocious. His stats from his true Freshman year with Will Levis are more telling of who he is. He had over 600 yards his freshman year which is great for true freshman.

Barion Brown was rated as a Top 50 recruit in the country. Jonathan Giles was ranked 906th in the country.

Or... and this is gonna be controversial... he's just not that good

Media is sleeping on our def. They still think we have the 2024 defense

Which is why the offensive line is the biggest impact on how good this team will be on offense. Our skill position players on both sides of the ball are really good and will make plays. If the offensive and defensive lines can be effective then we will have a very dominant and promising team this year. Offense could be very fun to watch with the explosiveness we have.
It all hinges on the if the line can be effective enough to create space in the run game against the lighter boxes we anticipate seeing. If the offensive line gets bullied up front then its going a long season. That will allow teams to keep two safeties deep and take away the explosive gains through the air making it very difficult on our offense. I really don't think that will be the case but we will see week 1.

Good luck covering Barion Brown and Chris Hilton stretching your defense going deep while Nic Anderson and Trey’Dez Green work the middle of the field.

He has returned kicks every year. Has a 99-100 yd TD every year. Seems like he didn’t return punts last year.

He has scored long TDs in 3 different ways every year he has played. He clearly has big play ability in our conference
