If you could buy the Houston Astrodome, what would you do with it?

I was thinking about this earlier.
I would convert the inside into a giant fish aquarium. One you could scuba dive in. Pump in salt water from the Gulf of America. Make a nice coral reef. Variety of fish. Possibly a rentable room or rooms underwater.

I’d turn it into a Texas Live thing. Bunch of bars, restaurants, shops, huge concert area and huge screens all over. It would be the go to pre game place for any event at NRG.
Picture the rodeo beer garden but x100 and indoors. Plus it’s year round so it can be used for any event.
Call it Astrodome Live!

If you’ve been anywhere around it recently, you’d be better off tearing it down. It’s been unkept for years and would require way too much work at this point to make any sort of renovation worth it.
Only concept I’ve seen make sense is to leave the outside frame and roof in tact for history, but gut the damn thing and convert to a parking garage for NRG.

The NRG Center there gets a lot of use, OTC is a massive annual event that many should be familiar with on this board. That entire area needs to be gentrified and quickly since Houston is missing out on some business with the way things are set up now.

this, but i’d gut everything but the bones and put some type of roof on it.
