We need Trump to get Putin to put an end to this. It would be a HUGE deal going into midterms.

It's a bitter pill for Europe, Zelensky etc to swallow but it's the right move. Putin repeatedly warned and now he's not shutting it down till donbass is recovered. The public supports him.

They say the agreement to transfer Alaska to the U.S. used the word "lease" in the Russian (Cyrillic) version and was supposed to be a 99 year lease.
The Tsar signed the official agreement document, which was in English even though he couldn't read English, and the word "lease" in the Cyrillic version was replaced by the word "sell" in the English version.
The Russians didn't find out about the "deception" until decades later.
So, Russians believe that Alaska is a Russian possession.
