The View are currently on indefinite leave, and as much as I'd like to see them cancelled I'm afraid of how much material Gutfeld! would lose if they were gone.

We didnt cancel stern.
No one did anything, no one watched/listened to him so he was fired.

Stern isn't really even being canceled. His contract is up, he has been talking about retirement, and be barely works anyway. This shouldn't be a victory lap for the right.
I also highly doubt The View ever returns from its current hiatus. If it does, I believe they'll have a new panel of hosts, and possibly a new format.

Yeah...this is dumb "flex" by the OP. No one is being "canceled". It's that neither side seems likely to agree to the terms of a new contract. SirusXM doesn't feel the $100M per year contract is worth the benefit anymore, and Stern, who is in his 70's, doesn't really feel like doing the show anymore.

Exactly. And this is the preferred way for it to happen. Show that folks like Colbert and Stern have no market value anymore. Let the market sort out this mess without USAID footing the bill for them.
