How often do you come across a fifty dollar bill in the wild?

I've always been a fan a unique currency and I can say for a fact that I have every single $50 bill I've come across since I started working 18 years ago. And it is not that many. I think about 15. I don't typically carry cash, don't do many cash transactions, just kind of random if I every see a $50.
But for the last year my son has been working at a restaurant in Lafayette. He knew about me keeping my $50's and for the first couple of months people paid with a few, he knew I had always kept them, and he brought me the ones he got.
He then told the guys he works with to be on the watch and now I'm getting 6-8 a month! (They trade out if anyone gets one)
So essentially I have started (the worst business ever), a money laundering service literally funneling the circulating $50 bills of Lafayette into my pocket.
1) How often do y'all come across a $50 dollar bill?
2) If you are a $50 bill spender, where are you usually getting them from?

My answer, to both, is the bank... when I refill my petty cash. Your fetish is odd- if ya gonna collect bills, go for the $2s.

The other day I had only a $50 bill and a $2 bill in my wallet and thought it was an odd arrangement.

When I meant to get $100 cash back at the self checkout at Wally World, the machine awarded me 4 $20s and 1 $50.
Somehow the 50 was thrown into a stack of 20s somewhere by mistake.
I returned it to customer service.

My buddy runs a very successful window cleaning and power wash business. He also thinks $50 bills are bad luck and $2 bills should be given away.
He gets $50 bills ALLL the time. One lady paid him $800 in $50 for some reason. He went straight to the bank. Any other time he gets a $50 he pays cash at the bar or tries to change it
Another client gave him $50 in $2 bills. He gave me 4 for my family and gave the rest to his employees

I used to occasionally tip with $2 bills. Certain people have actually laughed and thought it was a joke. Blew their mind when someone working with them would confirm its real. Definitely worth it to see their excitement and realization. For sure made peoples day with it and its quite a simple gesture. Would recommend.

Wells Fargo atm $300
Fast cash ftw. 4x$50 and 5x$20. I always carry $50s and they have become my preferred denomination.

Grandpa gave lil billjaminaxxon a couple fitties for his birthday and since he already has the entire maruchi catalog I decided to slide it into his crypto account and just put the cash in my wallet so I have some walking around money for the gold club girls.

Fifty Dollar Bill
I knew someone that went to the Cafe 80’s and used a fifty to buy a Pepsi in 2015.

I only get 50’s when I go to the bank. 5-10 years ago I got 20’s but stuff got more expensive.

I was given one today by a shut-in to go buy something for her that was going to cost around $45 with tax. They are becoming more common as things have gotten more expensive.
I'm old and born and raised in New Orleans. When I was young the $50 was shunned because of the yankee U.S. Grant. They were considered bad luck by Southerners, especially Southern gamblers.

I wonder if people see them more often up North.
