Which athletes were you surprised at being outed as a POS?

I honestly had no idea Chipper Jones was such a shithead until someone mentioned it on this board within the last month. I grew up hooked on 90’s baseball, and remember those Braves teams well.
Similarly, I was talking to some students about basketball, and one of them was a huge Kobe fan. Kid had no idea about all the rape stuff, just thought he was this great hooper who died in a helicopter crash.

Derrius Guice always pulled for him until alot of people on this board said how much of a POS he was. It kinda played out that way

Not sure I would go as far as call him a POS, but I was surprised that Phil Mickelson was loathed by just about every other tour pro.

I think the only thing Chipper's done is knocking up the Hooters waitress. As far as I know he's taken care of the kid. Dumb thing to do while married but also something that 99% of pro athletes have done.

There’s a difference between being a POS and a dick. Would say the same about Phil
Lance IMO is #1 by far because he cultivated an image that was the complete opposite of the garbage person he really was
