What was your favorite New Orleans restaurant that has been closed down since 2015?

For me it is Rue 127. Great spot in mid city for a nice dinner that closed down in 2018.

Delmonico’s on St. Charles. Closed in 2020 or 2021. Loved their steaks and Worcestershire sauce.

I haven’t even thought about 127 in years. It was indeed great.

Not sure when these 2 closed but I loved heading to Carmine's in Metairie on Vets and Mimi's in Harahan, with both of them now closed for a long time.
Carmine's had a seafood stuffed artichoke they considered an appetizer, but that thing was enough food to fill up 2 people with the rich dill sauce and fried seafood they used to stuff it.

Kin is also missed. No one else did Ramen like them. I knew Kin wasnt going to make it. It has more cooks than seats in the dining room. I know not really but close. I counted 8 employees one night.
But every ingredient was made so well. The tonkatsu was perfect. No other ramen in the city comes close. It was truly on par with the best options from LA and NYC.

Yeah that place was great. Was that where Zasu is now? I like Zasu alot but often forget it’s there due to the location.
I miss the hamburger @ Mondo

Rue 127 is up there.
Root also.
I also enjoyed Tavolino in Algiers.

as my absolute go-to burger spot, I still miss Fharmacy!
I also really miss Mondo, good all around menu, nice bar to eat at, great pizza, and didn't break the bank

Easily Blue Giant.
Honorable mention would be Marjie's.

Yep, this is by far the biggest loss IMO.

Le Ruth’s.
EDIT
I read this as having been closed since 2015. LeRuth’s closed long before then but I consider that the best New Orleans restaurant I have ever been to that ain’t there no more.
