Anniversary is Sunday. Looking for advice/thoughts from the Food Board for recommended restaurants in Lafayette area that would be open on Sunday. Afternoon/Dinner times preferred. Attire/costs not really a concern. (Can be anything from shorts to formal.) Looking for thoughts/advice from the Food Board. (we have recently been to Little Big Cup and Steamboat Warehouse, so would like other options.)
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the thought, LSUdc…. but I suppose I should have said that I am looking for something more local than a chain type.

A lot of places in the area are closed on Sundays, Charley G’s is probably the best spot in the area that is open on Sunday.

Don's Seafood Hut on Johnston Street. Open, lots of people, great food.

Get chargrilled oysters, seafood gumbo and crabmeat au gratin with a stuffed potato & green beans. Or, crabmeat stuffed shrimp.

Charlie G’s would be hard to beat for an anniversary dinner.
Bon Temp Grill - more casual atmosphere

They aren’t, unfortunately.

It’s really a limited number of places open, Charley G’s is one of the best open on Sunday and fortunately also one of the best open on Saturday.

Yeah, Charley G's is probably your best bet on Sunday.

It is a shame the OP asked for dinner ideas.

First anniversary is paper. Chik fil a is closed on Sunday so maybe a paper bag full of food from the Wendy's drive thru?

Perhaps more information on which anniversary is in order. 5th is wood, making that easy.

Good luck.

Ruth Chris's. Women like the ambiance of a masculine steak house- rich, dark wood and white table clothes with good service.
