Has Wal-Mart delivery impacted your life?

Overheard a conversation at work this morning where someone was saying they spend twice as much at Wal-Mart now that they deliver for “free”. Thoughts?

Prime mastered that decades ago.

Yes, the employees who pick items are always getting in my way

Women logic - Half-price sale means they can buy twice as much.

I fish more in my backyard now that I can have live bait and a six pack delivered to my home without having to drive to the store to get it or deal with lines.

I rarely shop at Wal-Mart.

I like it. It's convenient and saves time. I use other grocery delivery services as well. With Walmart, I pay $75 a year which my credit card company refunds. I buy mostly just what I need rather than picking up things in any grocery store that I see, but don't need. I have to order a lot for my Mom's house as well, so that's another big help.
Walmart will also deliver non perishable items at no minimum purchase. Last night, I ordered a bag of cotton balls for about 2 bucks. No fee, no tip even requested and the bag arrived this morning.
Before Walmart delivery, I can't recall going to a Walmart more than a few times in 15 years or more.

We switched to target delivery because Walmart kept fricking up our orders, big surprise

Walmart home delivery has a god send for people who live way out in the boonies, especially poor people with no ride.
No more "can I get a ride to Walmart" questions followed by "hell no, you can't get a ride to Walmart" responses.

We live too far out to have groceries delivered, but I do place a grocery pick-up order every Sunday for after church. I think it's reduced my spending significantly, since I only buy what I need.

Yes about once week I get something dropped off at my door that should go to a neighbor but the drivers go by picture which is wrong

They delivered beer to our tailgate.

Aren't they supposed to evaluate someone before releasing them from the hospital after being in a coma for years?

It's pretty sweet. They do mess up the order a lot, but it is really easy to get the money refunded.

I really like it for very select things. We have a Publix every 3 blocks here so I rarely need grocery delivery (and when I do I usually do Amazon).
But for stuff like diapers it's great.
