I could barely hit high school pitchers, and that was 25 years ago.

Is the MLB pitcher named? Who is it? Sorry if that's a dumb question.

Ain’t no one on this board getting a hit off a major league pitcher mixing up pitches.

I'd get a piece of 2/5, trying to bunt...

Could you hit him?
as in could I close my eyes and swing and by some stroke of cosmic luck successfully put a ball in play?
or do you mean like on purpose get a hit off him?

That looks absolutely frightening. Couldn't imagine trying to hit one of those.

Yes I could make contact.

The chances aren’t technically zero, but pretty close

This is Louisiana, if you played for a good enough high school you could hit anybody

Daryl James was a baseball player?

You’d strike out 333 straight times if you were given 1000 fastballs and guaranteed they’d all be in the strike zone.

I dont know how catchers consistently catch those heaters

I’m older now, so I can’t guarantee it because it’s been awhile. And yea I do let my arrogance get to me at times, but I did lead the city of New Orleans in hitting. I was a combo of Luis Arraez and Deion Sanders back in the day. This would be a lock back then.
Also there are guys in the majors who top out at high 80s. Not everybody is Paul Skenes.
I’m not talking taking dudes deep. I’m talking me touching the ball and it being a dribbler to the 2nd baseman.
Screw it, im going to a batting cage this weekend and I’ll check back in and let you know if I still got it.

90 mph is in your glove very quickly. I have not concept or understanding of how any adjustments can be made to catch 95-100 mph.

First of all, no I couldn't hit it. I would look like an absolute fool.
That being said, is it odd I just assumed it would be a bit faster looking/feeling?
