On July 27, 2025, a report was filed regarding an Aggravated Assault with a Firearm with Jennings Police Department concerning Cole Bienvenu.

I hate all thieves, but for some reason I have an extra special hate for thieves that steal copper in order to scrap it.

Sounds like a Bubbles and Johnny play.

I do as well, but I also fault the scrap business. Clearly stolen items are readily taken in for scrap. I mean, when you have the same meth head show up day after day with five or six catalytic converters, you know exactly how they got them. Or 300 foot of heavy gauge copper wire….nobody is scrapping 300 foot of freaking wire, man

Going by their Facebook, they seemed moderately trashy, but not excessively so, up to around 2021 when a relative of all three of them died. It apparently sent them all into a spiral that ultimately ended where they are now. Not making excuses, they're responsible for their actions, but they apparently weren't lowlifes from birth like a lot of them are.

In 1991 in Puerto Rico, I had a couple thousand feet of 4800 volt cable stolen while it was in service. Yep in service. about every 2-300 feet there were burn marks on the grass where the cable had been pushed out of the tray onto a board where it was chopped with an axe.
Pissed, I got corporate security to support a 10 grand reward for info leading to the capture of the thieves . It did not take long,,,,,,for the cousin of one of the thieves to turn them in for the reward

Just by reading the title, my first thought was somewhere in Livingston parish. I was wrong.

I've taken scrap in a few times and it's kind of interesting people watching there. I wondered why so many of the dudes stayed in their vehicles and let a woman handle the sale and paperwork. Turns out when you sell certain types of scrap your prints are sent to the local p.d so these guys with active warrants have thier women sell the scrap.
I had a watermelon pallet i had filled with old welding lead wire I had stripped. That pallet of shiny bright copper was like having a Ferrari it attracted so much attention. It was worth more than most of the vehicles on site.

The funny thing about this to me is that when the thief started at one end and the second cut should have shown him that he started on the wrong end. There should have been three burn marks or only one.

I could have written this part for them, only a tweeker would think "Desecration of Graves" was a grand idea .
