Is professional wrestling still good to watch?

With hulk hogan dying last week, I've been going down memory lane watching old WCW / WWF matches from the 90s. I probably haven't watched wrestling since like 2003 or so.
Is it still any good?

Come join the rasslin thread tonight. It’s usually a good time until rt3 shows up after burying the body…..

My 8 year old son is obsessed with pro wrasslin’
I can’t get into it with him. I showed him the Mankind v. undertaker cage match, which is the most legendary stunt performance in human history, and he was quite speechless.

It’s fun if you don’t have a stick up your arse. No it’s not the old days but it’s entertaining still.

No - not enough steroids and cocaine.

It's not as good as it once was, but it's as good once as it ever was.

I will watch it from time to time and find it somewhat entertaining. This is kind of a lull in sports that I like to watch, though. Did not watch much of the Friday night wresling shows during LSU baseball season, and won't watch much of the Monday night shows during football season. This lull between the end of college baseball and football starting up is peak viewership for me. I do generally find it mildly entertaining.

Tonight might be worth watching just for the Hogan tribute I assume they will have

They did that Friday. I’m sure they’ll have something for him but doubt it’s as big

Don’t typically watch regularly. Might watch AEW here and there just to see if Jim Cornette is exaggerating the “outlaw mudshow” aspects of it (he isn’t).

Is AEW or WWE the better one to watch?

I like it.
Been watching again since COVID.
My little boy loves Cody Rhodes.
As others stated, it's fun if you don't have a stick up your arse.
WWE way better than AEW.
