His record is good, he is better than any of our other QBs and he is making enough money to warrant him being on the field every play.

Lets hear the feedback.

He is also coming off an injury that may severely limit his athleticism which makes him him.

Its not about being the better QB right now. Its about finding out who has a legitimate shot at being our QB for the next 10+ years.

but why not let him qb for a year while the younger qbs on the roster sit and learn. Cut Haener and save a roster spot for another position.

Lol. You must be low-key hoping for 0-17.

He wasn’t a good QB when he was younger; now he’s old and beat up. This would be season suicide.

Totally with you on cutting Haener.

Personally im of the belief that the best thing to do is play these guys. You find out sooner rather than later if they can play.

You dont want that whole "is he actually good or not"

Last year Rattler got put in real crappy situations that imo really didn't prove anything. He was always one mistake away from being benched. Whoever wins the job needs to at least know he has security for that year.

If Hill was 100% healthy than maybe. But we don't know what version of Hill we are getting. Because if he cant move like he used to he cant offer that much else.

Because he's been injured every time he's played QB and now coming off an ACL. His days are extremely numbered.

Prefer Saints Report? How about that thread where they are talking each other we’ll have an all time record over .500 in 10-15 years. We’re 63 games under and soon to be at least 75 under after this year.

Does anyone remember him actually starting for us? He reads defenses and goes through progressions like a kid with Down syndrome. And that’s giving him credit. The guy is a fan favorite and playing the wildcat, tight end, and some small amount of receiver is good. Hard pass on everything else.

Humanely though. Give a chance to latch on elsewhere, probably Denver.

His injury rehab presents a real problem in being a true qb 1. But, there should be no argument about Taysom's continued and possibly expanded role as a QB-B situationaly and build a unique offensive attack with him situationally with a young qb on the roster developing and being the "main guy" per se.

Let's just say that Shough or Rattler got hurt and could not come back this season.

Or maybe both of them had their season cut short due to injury.

I think in a very unfavorable scenario like that you could see Tayson maybe get another shot?

I don't think we are expecting him to be ready. "Come off and injury" might be too positive of a term.

Alright….. here’s the best lo-down for the longterm per Taysom :

—He’s Too Damn Old.
—He’s Too Damn Injured
—He Cost $10 million per year to run a few QB Sneaks.
—Cut or Trade His Azzz… spend his money on other positions of need.
— You spent 3 Draft picks on QBs currently on the roster.. one of them a 2nd Rd. Pick. If you can’t find a starter from 1 of those 3 you suck at talent evaluation and you will spend a high round 1st rd pick on one next year !!!
