for the 2025 season, but today he is going up against the HAPLESS ATLANTA BRAVES. Which makes him guaranteed to get his first win of the season. The game is currently 3-0 Giants in the top of the 6th inning

If he keeps pitching until he's 55 he might get to 300 wins.

He should hang it up and just pound Kate the rest of his life.

Yeah even If he pitches twice a season against Atlanta he still won't get there

Gotta know when to hold em and know when to fold em.

He should start his journey as an announcer or pitching coach.

he's making $15MM this year. i was going to comment "i'd do anything they want for $15MM" but then i looked and he was at $394MM career earnings before this year.

yeah, go home, budd. go play with those funbags...

Wins and losses don’t tell the whole story. Skenes has a losing record but might be the best pitcher in MLB.

He would be great doing this imo. Solid in interviews

He’s struggling this year - but he’s had a great career and Hunter Brown is the pitcher he is because Verlander was a great mentor.

As an Astros fan, I’d trade McCullers straight up for him right now.

He may not win a game the rest of the year, he doesn't care. Cause at the end of the night this is waiting for him at home.

He should just move to relief/ closer and only go for the guaranteed wins for good teams if he really wants to get to 300.

He won't make 30 as a starter anymore

His wife might have made more. Unreal money.

Imagine thinking that would be a good contract to give out.
