When I read this thread title I was worried that *I* was the serial killer.

Glad to know I'm not.

Putting both socks on is just logical, as sometimes you walk around in socks. Who walks around in one socked, shoed foot and a bare one?

Also, sock shoe sock shoe likely takes longer.

You have both socks in your hands. It would make sense to just put both on immediately.

Why put one on, put the other sock down, put on a shoe, pick the sock back up and then put it on.

That is illogical.
