“Everything I don’t like is end of democracy” ~ liberals
Fox News
'The View' host Sunny Hostin warns Colbert cancellation could lead to the 'dismantling of our Constitution'
My concern is, if it is political, then everyone should be concerned. People on the right should be concerned. People on the left should be concerned. Because it's very clear that, if it is political, this is the dismantling of our democracy. This is the dismantling of our Constitution. Right?" Hostin said to the cheering of the studio audience.
She continued, "The First Amendment is the First Amendment for a reason and that is freedom of the press, freedom of speech. Freedom to speak truth to power. If that is taken away, if the comedians are being attacked, then that means our Constitution is being dismantled… That means the very rubric of our democracy is being dismantled. And I think every single person should be really, really concerned about it."

Do they even teach business classes in college anymore? What's so hard to see about a show losing $50mm a year needs to go? And how did a no talent hack work his way into a $15mm contract? Do the networks just try to match the networks in salaries. If they would just stick to comedy and entertainment and stay the hell out of politics, they might have some viewers and advertisers.

100% sure there was USAID money funneled to these anti Trump propaganda shows.

I’m thinking Sonny Hostin is actually the poster on Wisconsin

NPR money just got cut off.
Their propaganda funding is drying up.

Imagine believing or relying on the View for your news/political commentary...
Lots of cucks out there with wives who eat this shite up.

I think “The view” hosts need to demand ABC take over the show or else they walk.
It’s absolutely hilarious that the left is going nuclear over the cancellation of a show in which the right was previously told that “it’s just comedy! You can’t take a joke??”

First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech. It does not guarantee a platform.
NPR/PBS just learned that lesson.
Colbert is learning it also.

Exactly - if people don’t like a product, they don’t buy it / watch it. See “Colbert”, WNBA. If someone else wants to pay for it as a social donation, go ahead - you cover the millions of dollars lost every year, but private enterprise doesn’t have to.

Imagine a liberal defending the constitution.. That's like an atheist defending the bible...

How can her producers allow her to say such utterly ignorant and stupid things like this???
The federal government didn't cancel Colbert, the folks paying for the show canceled it because it was costing them money and not earning money. Lol
Geez.....

Progressives need to rein these dumbasses in.
Not everything that occurs is “the end of democracy”.
Constantly calling everything “the end of democracy” is retarded.

Is there a collection of bigger buffoons than the women on this show? Doubtful, but maybe congress.

I’m constantly reminded people have no idea what the 1st amendment is.

Maybe I’ve missed it but seems I have not yet heard one Republican figure carrying on about the cancellation of Cobert.
The Progs are sure carrying on about it though. You’d almost think the guy was helping to push along a political agenda on his show with the way they are carrying on.

Pay me a $20,000,000 salary and fire me while I'm on vacation. I suspect my feeble self respect would be just fine.
