Let's say you meet someone on the street and she kinda looks like a woman.
She says something to you and you quickly respond with, "M'am?" When she proceeds to talk to you, it is apparent that she is not a she. As "he" speaks again, do you address "him" as a man or as a woman?

I, personally, will never address a man as a woman nor a woman as a man.
That's just me...if some think I'm being disrespectful, too bad. God made each of us and the way we came into this world will be the way we go out.
I will not be part of a sick person's lie.

There's no need for any of that shite. Pronouns are for when referring to someone in the third person.

If I had to directly address one and my job depended on it, I would simply say things like: "what can I do for you?"

These trans people are mentally unstable and prone to violence. When I encounter them in public, I try to minimize my encounter so I don’t do anything that might trigger them. I avoid using any pronouns and just try to get away from them as quickly as possible, as would with any other crazy person.

I think Bruce Jenner is a joke, also. He goes by Caitlyn Jenner but in my book he's just as sick in the head as all of the other mental cases who want to be the opposite sex that they were born as.

I still don't even know the definitions for sure.

Are you talking about a biological male that thinks he's a woman or a biological woman who thinks she can transition to being a man?

I would use “it” because I wouldn’t be sure and don’t want to offend anyone.

I will not use someone's preferred pronouns.

Every time the stupid arse has to take a piss he will realize he is NOT a woman. A woman does not have a penis! So, after holding his penis in his hand to piss, if he still thinks he is a woman...he needs therapy.

You are never going to directly address a tranny (or anybody) in the first person as “he“ or “she” or “they.” Only “you.” It’s only in third person conversations “he,” “she,” or “they” would ever come up. I’d completely leave out respectful terms like “sir” or “ma’am.”

Exactly. And if you have to refer to them in third person in their presence, just say something similar to: "This customer was asking about our policy on xxx, could you help them out?"

Eh, I'd probably try to avoid either but insisting that I call it ma'am is a sure-fire way to get a sir.
