It depends on the player at the plate. No one shifts every at bat. They pick someone who regularly (statistically always) pulls.

Dylan Raiola's father (Dominic Raiola) ought to sit down and explain how embarrassing this is. The kid is more than successful enough to just be himself and not "the player for Nebraska that acts like Mahomes".
