gonna admit it; some strong memories resurfaced this morning and i am still feeling guilty from recently pulling a stunt where i got pissed off over NOTHING and stormed out of the house to cool down. what an a-hole.

my wife, from the time we were engaged where the next morning we were sitting in a deli in NYC's little italy and they brought our food and the first thing she did was cut one of her sausage links in half and put it on my plate..to literally some things she has done that are too personal to share but are so incredible that she could spend the next 30 years being a jerk and i would still be in her debt.

over the years we all get caught up in stupid shite like who's turn is it to unload the dishwasher and WHO FREAKING CARES. none of that means anything.

if you have a good woman (or man), don't wait another day; buy them flowers or do something random today to show them you don't take them for granted and that they have made you a far better person than you would have ever been on your own.

this has been a CAD PSA

This likely won't go over well on this board

I'd be lost without my wife. She does so much to keep our house and family together, plus makes a bunch of money too.

Hopefully she'd say the same about me as well.

My wife thinks I am God. Rarely acknowledges my existence and only calls my name when she needs something

You not being able to function without a baby sitter is not a surprise at all

Now all the incels can come in here and call everyone a simp for not hating women

Also, you’ve posted about your wife going to Delgado, I’d love to hear your definition of “a lot of money”

Not quite spouse yet, but absolutely appreciate the fiancé. Took him to dinner at Meesh Meesh last weekend (took about two months to get a reservation) and we do things for each other all of the time, big and small. Neither one of us are perfect, but we don't expect that either. It's pretty great when you find someone who you're compatible with enough to be yourself without judgement.

Men don't expect it, women do. That's the difference.

Yup, we're older, fatter, and uglier that we used to be but I'd do it all over again. I thought I had regrets when I was in my early 30s because I was forced to make some career choices for her sake but it ended up working out in my favor (not in a executive ladder way, but in a work-life balance way). She's a much better parent and provides me with incredible insight into so many things. We're not perfect but we certainly compliment each other.

Nice. I think.

this

My husband is an absolute saint when it matters! We spend 24/7 working together and definitely argue over dishwashing and petty nonsense. But day in and day out he shows up when times are hard.

My mother in law told my wife she needs to appreciate me more.

Mrs. Cotten and I have been married nearly a decade; we met working together, got married 11 months later and now own and operate a business together. So we've naturally been together nearly 24/7 since the day we met. I truly couldn't imagine life without both her love and her support. Individually, we're great. But together as a team we've definitely built a life I couldn't imagine 10 years ago. My wife is fricking awesome

Share what you wrote with your Wife. Honestly, she'll likely appreciate you sharing the kind words and memories over something like flowers. I say that as I am very aware I struggle to share feelings until they totally blow up; I've been working on that myself.

My wife is awesome! Completely independent woman and I love it.

She handles all her own shite and most of my shite
