Alexander Acosta needs to sit in front of the American people and tell us who got to him.
If not for either his cowardice or complicity, Epstein would’ve been imprisoned for life nearly 20 years earlier.

The state of Fla was also after Epstein during that time frame, and they could produce only 1 witness.
Which is why the feds quit "going down that rabbit hole", and got Epstein to plea to a deal

I just wonder why if such high powered and highly influential people were at risk of being blackmailed by Epstein (or those who “controlled him, for those in that camp), then how was it ever possible that American law enforcement agencies got the go ahead to expose, investigate and arrest him in the first place. It would seem that between all those uber high powered individuals would have either averted it themselves, or had someone else in our government avert it on their behalf.
Can someone explain this to me please?

If you research his life story you will know he broke the law so many times and nothing basically happened to him. People were still hanging out with him knowing he was a criminal. He was money laundering, messing with minors, tax evading, fraud, etc. and was untouchable for most of his life. He was getting slaps on the wrist or nothing at all. His number just came up and he outlived his usefulness. I don’t know about blackmail? Definitely some suspicious stuff with Les Wexner signing over power of attorney to him to manage all his wealth. Did he blackmail him to get access to all that wealth? Definitely a possibility. I know Epstein expressed the sentiment he made it to where if a company or someone went after him it would be just as embarrassing to them because they were in business together. That’s manipulative and smart. I wouldn’t say it’s blackmail.

Donald Trump.

That would have to be explained in some detail.

As usual, you offer a very insightful idea.
Why would these people allow themselves to be compromised? If he had an ongoing blackmail scheme going on there would be whispers. For many of the alleged a hit would be cheaper than the embarrassment.
And yes I suspect that the ex-queen of the state department would get word of the bust and use her influence on squash it. Perhaps that is what happened. The evidence is gone and her man's playground too.

Has it ever been fully explained how Epstein went from a simple math teacher to an influencer and confidant to the most powerful men of society and industry?

I'm not into Epstein.
I'm in IT security.
ETA: but I bet having young girls to pass around would help with that.

If this is true, this is what is responsible for his demise. You start playing that game, someone is going to put a trashcan over your head eventually, to shut you up for good.

And his ability to operate as he had diminished. His usefulness evaporated
Hence his arrest, and toooooooootally for real suicide

I’ve find this paradox vexing as well.
And it’s why I ultimately don’t really believe the myth of Epstein.
Not saying he wasn’t a piece of shite who didn’t peddle in some distasteful lines of product but for someone who could control the worlds most powerful people, he sure couldn’t manage to keep his own arse out of jail.
Its safe to say Jeffrey Epstein has moved into the realm of folklore at this point.

he did not deny it.
epstein is still alive.

Acosta also laughed, in 2016, when Trump claimed that his phones were tapped in Trump Tower. He was laughing because Trump misused the term tap, knowing all the while that the DOJ was listening in on Trump communications from Trump Tower.
Well played, Alex. You’ve known all along that Epstein was a horny conman, and Maxwell was an intelligence asset. So, again, “technically” you’re correct.

He’s just lucky, sorta like Paul Pelosi is lucky.

Still bitching even after Trump requested the grand jury testimony unsealed? Color me shocked. Almost like you’re just a run of the mill panican.
