Pretty good video. Totally forgot Fred Akers went to Purdue after Texas. Hallman is also on the list.

Is Mike DuBose #1 on that list? If not, he should be.

Would imagine that John L Smith at Arkansas should be up there.

He had some success. Hallman was downright awful. Not as bad as Greg Davis at Tulane. Forgot how terrible he was too

still has a more recent SEC championship than does Tennessee.

Also beat Spurrier twice that year to get it

First Coach I thought of for this period was Gerry Faust because he went straight from High School to Notre Dame and was of course, scrutinized and unfairly vilified by the Press for not being gangbusters like he was in High School.

From 1962 to 1980, Faust tallied a mark of 178–23–2 and won four High School Football National Championships at Moeller High.

He went 30-26-1 at Notre Dame.

His first game was a 27–9 victory over LSU in the 1981. He announced his resignation during the 1985 season after losing 10-7 to LSU.

Is Woody Widenhofer on that list? Not sure why Vandy hired him in the first place.

I didn't watch the video, but Stan Parrish at KST has to be pretty high. I know KST didn't support the program very much pre-Snyder, but 2-30-1 speaks for itself.

Well, in his defense, KSU was nothing before Snyder got there. He was a worked miracles for that program, because its in the middle of nowhere.

I told an Arkansas friend of mine, that will always be known as "the year John L. was here", like 1940 will be forever known in France as "the year the Germans came".

There were fewer more disappointing/frustrating teams than the 2000 Alabama football squad. Leadership matters.

Hard to call Schnellenberger the worst when they went out and hired John Blake the following year.

Gerry Faust at ND is probably the worst, biggest wtf hire of all time so that gets my vote
