Aase will Redshirt, Theophilus, Ricken or Paz?
How do they compare to Evans, Schmidt, Rizy and Williams?

Ricken is a big lanky guy with a lot of projection. Paz has some great spin rates but is working himself back from TJ surgery. Theophilus is a step below the other two in his status as a prospect. I think it would be a little more surprising if he was an impact freshman.
My vote is Ricken, but Paz could be in line for a huge sophomore year once he really works his way back into form.

It wouldn’t shock me if one the 4th round kids shows up on campus.

Paz is coming back from
an injury but was throwing Bullpens in march. He should be good to go next season.
I could see him being the Evans of this class. Not that they’re clones but in terms of contribution

I don’t think that you should be shocked when none of the 4th round kids are there in the fall. They’re going to get $1m plus. They ain’t comin.

Paz was the Dallas Fort Worth Player of the Year but as someone mentioned his injury dropped him no doubt. I believe he had Tommy John surgery but was still ranked the 103rd best prospect by mlb.com

Paz had a bullpen at the pre all star draft activities and everyone was buzzing. His control Isn’t there but you can tell he’s rehabbing and is gonna be a beast.

Ricken has the stuff to be an immediate starter, but he will obviously have competition. Could start in a role similar to what Evans did.

Talked to his dad the other day. He said he’s looking good and should be ready to go barring any setbacks.

youre still on this? teams aren't taking high schoolers in the top 4 rounds without knowing their number and knowing they will reach that number.
