Don’t forget Schmidt. When it clicks for him he will be elite as well.

I already have my tickets set for Omaha, Jay just needs to get them there!
You could see a little of this in Rizy towards the end of the season.
What Jay had done with the portal, and high school players passing on the draft. It only gets better.

Per LSUs info, yes.

Correct. I read that he was a "reclassified senior". He went to a private school in Massachusetts, Worchester Academy.
quote:
Information on specific Worcester Academy seniors reclassifying is limited. However, here's some general information about reclassification in high school, especially in the context of athletics, which is relevant given the references to Worcester Academy's athletic program:
What is reclassification? Reclassification, or reclassing, refers to the practice of a student changing their high school graduation year, either graduating earlier or, more commonly, repeating a grade to delay graduation.
Why do students reclassify? Student-athletes frequently reclassify to gain an extra year of physical maturity and skill development before college recruiting intensifies. It's seen as a way to potentially enhance their competitiveness and attractiveness to college coaches.
Worcester Academy and reclassification: Worcester Academy has a long-standing tradition of offering a postgraduate year, which allows students to further develop academically and socially before transitioning to college. This offers a structured residential environment and a chance to take a traditional Grade 12 curriculum designed to complement their high school studies.
Considerations for reclassification: While reclassification can be beneficial for some athletes, it's important to consider factors like fairness, accessibility, and potential impact on the overall high school and college recruiting landscape. Families should also be aware of NCAA rules regarding age limits and delayed enrollment.
Alternatives to reclassification: Rather than reclassifying, some students may benefit from year-round development programs or graduating on time and delaying college enrollment to take additional courses or retake standardized tests.
