Seems like ignoring coworkers would cause work drama, no?

What I meant to say is I just try and stay away from them

About work things? Sure.
About personal life? No - and that applies to everybody.

I don’t have coworkers. I have employees. Congrats on being an individual contributor in your 50s

Yup... still gotta work directly with some of them. It is what it is as they say.

If work related, yes. I’m there to do my job. Otherwise, no.

I don't dislike any of my coworkers at this job, but at my last job, I was just professional with those coworkers, nothing more.
At my current job, the bigger issue is avoiding the seemingly ever-present political discussions in the office. I don't always even disagree with what's being said, I just don't want to engage about it. It's a lot of "Yeah, uh huh, I agree" regardless of what's being said.
It's easier that way than to try to get into debates or discussions where, even if you agree on a topic, you might be totally at odds with another political topic that could come up.

Not unless its necessary.

Well I don't know that ignoring them would be my best course of action seeing as it is my job. So I am going to assume you mean about personal things, and no, this is why I like working remote no stupid chit-chat.

Makes sense…….
Especially since they, like you, work for me.

Because I’m a functioning adult.

Sugar wouldn't melt in my mouth... I can be a faker to keep the peace.. Although one of the most hated women worked in my office... A co-worker saw her car broken with her sitting inside and he kept driving... When he told me I high fived him...

at work I'm the one who's not liked

I don’t have any coworkers. I talk to my dogs and mainly work at home.
