Big John Pearson is tearing up summer ball

Over his last 5 games with the La Crosse Loggers, John Pearson is batting .500 in 18 AB with 1 HR, 4 RBIs, 7 runs scored, 4 walks, and only 1 strikeout. Shiny .565 OBP.
He's primarily played at 1B, with a couple starts at 3B and DH mixed in. Wherever Jay decides to play him, excited to see his development and power. Big things are in store for the big man at LSU.

Lacrosse is Northwoods League. It’s good baseball but it’s a step down from Cape or Alaska

Alaska is a shell of what it once was.
Northwoods is in a cluster of leagues in the tier below the Cape.

As noted previously, CJJ said that in Omaha, players from both sides stopped & watched Pearson's BP. He also noted that Peason would be a"vialbe" third baseman first as well.

I think I can catch Northwoods on my Roku

That picture of John Pearson needs to be mandatory for any topics started about him.

I feel like nobody talks about this dudes power. Everything he hit this past season looked like it was 110 mph off the bat. And the HR this past season that practically went over the left field scoreboard lol

Just want him to get in shape, looks sloppy for a college athlete

May be able to lose a few lbs, but John Kruk and Mo Vaughn were monsters, and not exactly Adonis

Not sure what it is, but he reminds me of Belushi. We need to start calling him Bluto.

Girthy fellow. Loins bulging to blast baseballs. Big. Bad. John.

Pearson is listed as 6'0, 248. Tanks was listed at 6'0, 240 when he got to LSU. I'm sure Pearson will shed some weight like Tanks did.
Tanks is actually down to 220 now in the minors. He's worked hard to get in better shape.
