Some of you predicted this

quote:

Six months after the devastating Palisades and Eaton fires, California Gov. Gavin Newsom unveiled $101 million in funding Tuesday for “multifamily low-income housing development” that will “contribute to a more equitable and resilient Los Angeles."

And this funding will come from fines on property owners who don’t rebuild fast enough for the state’s liking, I’m sure.

I am guessing we are all paying for this through federal funding.

This sounds absolutely peachy. Everyone should get a warm and fuzzy feeling throughout this project as we see a community come together.

You’ve got to love it when a plan comes together. California will be the greatest tragedy in the story of our Republic.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
California is facing a $12 billion deficit that Gov. Gavin Newsom wants to help close by freezing enrollment in a state-funded health care program for immigrants living in California without legal status.

Newsom announced the deficit and his plans to cover it Wednesday as he outlined his nearly $322 billion state spending plan for the upcoming fiscal year.

All while running a $12B deficit.

No one can get a permit to rebuild their house.

But Newsum can build a ghetto

Low Income Housing right next to the largest homeless crisis in America, great place to live and raise your kids.

Isn't construction cost in California expensive as hell compared to other parts of the country because of Cali's regulations and labor costs? And ICE is rounding up all their cheap illegal immigrant construction labor.

Probably going to have a lot of people who end up having to sell their land because they just can't afford to rebuild there, especially the ones that didn't have any insurance.

The regulations going in place for people to rebuild their homes are so much more convoluted and purposefully high cost. Due to these regulations and the costs, many are saying they won't be able to afford rebuilding.

They already have the land, I think, so this would be for materials, which is a lot.
