Looking to buy a whole cow that is butchered and packaged.
I’m in the New Orleans area.

Do y’all know any places with in a 100 mile radius that does that?

Probably easier to buy cow and fatten up then take to processer.

Wait time for one around here(river valley) is 1 1/2 years for their cattle.

We had four we planned to do this with in 2021 - wait time for processing was like 6 months. They’re now basically pets on my buddy’s land.

I actually have no idea!

Husband wanted to raise meat chickens but I’ve already named them and they’re not getting eaten. Ever.

They were taught how to heal, sit, and retrieve. They’re duck cows now.

I got attached to eating them! With 6 families dividing the calf, it lasted around 10 months.
