Futures are down a bit. Is this a normal pullback after a quick run-up or does Wall Street not love the OBBBA?

Seems like noise consider the run up.

Obviously the passage ensues that government spending continues it's March upwards. It's another time where we kicked the can down the road trying to curb deficit spending.

I would think the defense spending and corporate tax cuts would pump it a bit. The market isn't rational though and more and more seems to price these things in before they happen.

I believe the market already priced in the bill and the kicking the can down the road again on any increase in "reciprocal" tariffs.

Probably mostly fluff. Always a lot of angst when the market feels overvalued. Bet it goes flat before open Monday

Where are you seeing that?

only U.S. stock futures I see are dated as of 1 P.M. yesterday which is when the markets closed early yesterday for the July 4th holiday.

President Donald Trump has bemoaned a new acronym that has been used to describe his approach to tariffs. Financial Times columnist Robert Armstrong coined "TACO trade" in May, describing how some investors anticipate market rebounds amid Trump's on-again, off-again tariff policies. Trump hit back at a reporter who asked about the term on May 28, saying, "you ask a nasty question like that. It's called negotiation."

There are new incentives to invest in real estate with the BBB.
Accelerated depreciation is big.
