Snippet
quote:

The sprawling GOP bill — clocking in at nearly 1,000 pages — represents a dramatic realignment of the federal government's role in American life, shifting resources from the social safety net and investments in clean energy, and reorienting them to finance trillions of dollars in new spending on tax cuts, immigration enforcement and national defense.

They say this like it's a bad thing... Less safety net fraud, let clean energy do its own thing... advance tax cuts, immigration enforcement and national defense.

What are they belly-aching about anyway?

They don’t want immigration enforcement because it will result in them having less house seats and EC votes. They also think we deserve to be punished by way of rape and murder via illegals.

They have an issue with the tax cuts because they don’t want trump to get a win. NPR is disgusting anti American scum

"... spending on tax cuts."

Talk about pretzel-speak.

Leftists think and have thought for a very long time that Europe is superior to the US in every single way. I’ve never understood why they don’t just move their asses over to that shithole instead of trying to turn the US into a shithole.

Notice how they frame tax cuts for all workers as “new government spending”. They are so backwards in their thinking.

Agreed.. I just found it amusing and out of touch that they printed that paragraph like it is 'bad'... when most taxpaying people would be rejoicing in it.

Exactly! But screw cracking down on safety net fraud, or what safety net fraud actually costs the average citizen. They are high on their own supply.

From government's frame of mind all money belongs to them.

I wonder what their criticisms of the Green New Deal were.

Government safety nets should be the last resort when all other choices have been exhausted.

Now, safety nets are the first choice of many individuals representing a huge voting block for the democrats.

Social safety nets are like abortion... went from safe, legal and rare to free for everyone all of the time and damn anyone that doesn't think all of it is a Constitutional Right.

Yeah screw NPR. But I'll tell you I'm tired of bills running thru congress having 1000 pages. You know there will be a lot of crap in it. I'm ready for a 10 page bill, only about 1 subject. Only 1 subject. I'm tired of a senator holding he country ransom to vote for a bill to get a bridge or some $ dumped into his district. I'm sick of this. Short worded bills or complete line item veto.
