The man has looked rough for a while. I don't imagine he's lead a healthy life in some time.

Michael Madsen, who starred in Quentin Tarantino movies Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill: Vol. 2, has died aged 67 from cardiac arrest.
NBC reported that Madsen was found dead at his Malibu home on Thursday morning, according to his manager Ron Smith.
"In the last two years Michael Madsen has been doing some incredible work with independent film including upcoming feature films Resurrection Road, Concessions and Cookbook for Southern Housewives, and was really looking forward to this next chapter in his life," managers Susan Ferris and Ron Smith, and publicist Liz Rodriguez said in a statement.
"Michael was also preparing to release a new book called Tears For My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems, currently being edited. Michael Madsen was one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors, who will be missed by many.”
Madsen is best known for his collaborations with celebrated director Quentin Tarantino, first as the demented Mr. Blonde in 1992's Reservoir Dogs, then assassin Budd, the brother of Bill (David Carradine), in 2004's Kill Bill: Volume 2. He would later player star in Tarantino's 2015 western The Hateful Eight.
While those movies are considered masterpieces, Madsen also starred in less well-received films, such as Uwe Boll's universally panned BloodRayne, which he called "an abomination."

I knew him. He had recently spit from his long time wife after his son died. He was already living on the edge, but fell off. Did a leaving Las Vegas and drank himself to death.

Damn. RIP. One of my favorites to ever do it
My first time seeing him on screen was as the foster dad in Free Willy when I was a kid. It was a bit of a culture shock to see the other characters he played when I started watching Tarrantino movies in high school

That's young but he never looked like he was in good health the last few decades.
Regardless he's been great in a lot of great movies.

Sad news. I've always enjoyed his work, especially with Tarantino

I first knew him from Free Willy as well lol.
He looked old in the 90’s. Would’ve bet big money he was in his mid to late 70’s

Watching War Games a month or so ago for the millionth time and never realized he is one of the air force guys "turning the key" to unleash the nukes in the beginning of the movie.

He was actor whose kind of style never seemed to get old, which is rare for an actor with 4 decades under his belt. Really enjoyed him in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

He is so good in that scene. And Kill Bill 2.
