He vetoed projects of 16 GOP legislators who went against his shitty insurance “fix.” Can’t wait for his term to end in 2.5 years.

But Sen. Alan Seabaugh, R-Shreveport, who lost funding for four projects, more than any other legislator, took a shot at Landry.

“As long as the governor is going on turkey hunts and traveling to LSU baseball games on billboard lawyers’ private planes, the people of Louisiana will continue to pay outrageous insurance premiums while the governor continues to bully legislators and attack the Insurance Commissioner,” Seabaugh said in a statement

Holy shite, I like this guy

I would bet money that unless he goes after a US Senator position, he cruises to reelection

Two years will be an entirely different election than 2023. Dems weren’t inspired by Shawn Wilson and didn’t show up. Dems will show up to vote against Landry next time. Many repubs have seen Landry for what he is and are voting against him. He may win, but it won’t be in primary.

Is it typical for LA governors to have an interstate green sign announcing their hometown?

Swampy as it gets.

All the signs were there. I didn’t like Honor Chode but this clown is no better.

JBE had a sign in Tangi Parish. Landry is slightly better than Sloth, but not much.

This would look great on a billboard if the Lawyers didn’t have all of them.

Actually, yes it is. JBE had one entering Tangipahoa and Blanco also had one in Lafayette at one time. Those are 2 I specifically remember

In my opinion part of the reason they weren't inspired is b/c he worked out a deal with Cleo that if his get out vote machine inactivated then he would get Graves's district.

I didn't either. It was pretty obvious that he was more of the same that we usually get in LA. Entrenched, lawyer and part of the good ole boy network in this state. Pretty similar to JBE.

Rep. Mike Bayham, R-Chalmette, lost $6,000 for signage at Pearl Harbor Memorial Park in Arabi.

Playing on words related to the Japanese sneak attack on the Hawaiian naval base in 1941, Bayham said, “I was not given any forewarning on the cut, and I was taken by surprise.”

Why? Because he helped pass constitutional carry? Even when JBE is a 2A supporter?

Blindly following party ties in elections is how we got Landry in the first place. The most well known thing he has down is try to do something that has already been struck down in courts. At least with JBE he acted in ways he thought helped his supporters, while Landry is doing whatever he can to make Trump notice him.
