Hud was the man. Great dude and easy going. Was pretty athletic his first few years at LSU…but in no way was he ever close to this level of athleticism. Kid still has 2 years left, too. Excited to see how good he gets

He absolutely LOVES LSU. From what I’m hearing, if we want him, which we absolutely do, we will have him. Also from what I’ve heard, we are all in on him.

Would be a solid college PF.
However, guys playing football and basketball in college that have a future in football just don’t seem to ever work out when it comes to being a reliable basketball player.

Wait until you see him in March. You don't want to mess with with no Hudson when its tourney time.

There are a lot of 6'5 - 6'7 college basketball players. That's not to say he couldn't be a great basketball player (clearly his highly ranked, right now, as a recruit) it just that there isn't a scarcity of basketball player with that size. There are far fewer guys with that size who can legitimately play tight end.
Tre'dez Green didn't look out of place, at all, in limited action for LSU basketball last season. But he looked like a potential All American as a football player last season.
6'7 though is probably about the ceiling on playing TE. Anything above that and basketball is more likely your sport.

Make no mistake about it, Ahmad Hudson is a football player. He is not Trey'dez Green on the basketball court. He is physical, athletic but everything you see is at the rim. 6'7 C do not translate like that, not when he is a HM football guy.
Now... the 2028 PG on his team... Darren Ford 6'2 ... there is an absolute basketball STAR that LSU will be on.

LSU is top 15 all time in McDonald's/Parade AAs in the country.
What IN THE HELL makes you think we can't land elite players in basketball, when every coach we've had besides Trent's sorry arse signed them regularly? Especially one who's father undoubtedly has great memories of his time at LSU?
And Trent even signed Johnny O'bryant who was a McDonald's AA.

Feed T.D. Green the ball and use his success to show exactly what he’ll be doing as a tiger.

I watched him play 1 HS bball game…
Lazy, bad attitude, walked up and down the court after not getting the ball, etc…
Better stick to football

You add 6'5 sniper Keyshean Malcom to that core and the '26 Ruston boys team is loaded with talent and should make a serious run for the 5A non-select title. The girl's team will surprise everyone as well. They are my darkhorse to win 5A as well.

Where was the camp held?

Out of Ruston? That's an LSU stronghold. If LSU wants him, I'd be surprised if he isn't a Tiger. As we saw this past year, the opportunity to play both is there, it's just not easy.

Guess that depends on who the new coach is after this season.

He did. Ruston is beyond loaded.
