We might be looking at what could be the worst NFL team in the 17-game regular season era. The New Orleans Saints have virtually nothing going for them and are probably going to pick first overall in the 2026 NFL Draft," Scataglia wrote.

And yet somehow Mickey Loomis still has a job

So it would be mission accomplished in a rebuilding year.

Hey, it’s another negative post by Geauldilocks. How refreshing.

We all know this season will be a struggle. We have a new coach, a new direction and we’ve started the rebuild. I’m actually happy and excited we are starting a new direction rather than continuing to dig the hole with “continuity”.

He's one day away from telling us how Lonald Weiler-Sledge and Roaro Kleibenschnott think the Saints will suck next year.

I'd love to know what was written about the Saints going into the 2006 season...

I don't think we will be good, but I don't see how we can be worse without Dennis Allen and hopefully some luck on the injury side.

Exactly.

We have Hill and Shaheed back, Kamara healthy, and (for now) Olave is upright.

Man..... frick these people.

Under Loomis the Saints have had two seasons of fewer than 7 wins in 23 frickin years (last year and the Katrina year).. and we're over here hoping the team sells and relocates

Meanwhile teams like the Jets, Browns, Jaguars, Giants, etc are perpetually picking in the top 5 of the draft and still going nowhere. Yet we got people on this board that will tell you those teams are better off than we are.

Get the frick over it.

KMoore is a former QB. He knows what it takes. A wall up front. Banks is a freak of nature and will be around a while. An improved OL will see whoever is QB flourish at a level greater than most of you think.
The media is skeptical of the Saints. I think some head will turn with this new and improved staff of coaches. Y'all best be getting excited because it's going to be better than you think.

Now we’re quoting guys named Lou on here. At least you’re consistent. Never seen someone’s shtick being the dumbest person on the message board but, it sure is original.

I agree. If Moore is an average NFL head coach that will be a huge improvement from Allen. I believe the coaching staff top to bottom is better as well.

The offensive line has a chance to be one of the better units in league. If we hit on banks, that would mean we have our tackle positions for the foreseeable future. Then we could start investing in some top end pass rushers next few drafts.

I think we are a 5 to 7 win team, which is fine during a rebuild, especially if we found our Coach and one of the QB’s shows promise.
