Is it not crazy how long it’s been since we have started the season 1-0?

I was a junior in high school, now a college graduate. Holy shite can Brian Kelly please beat Clemson this year, and it won’t be easy either

We Never lost those games before. It has been incredibly disappointing.

This years game honestly wouldn’t be unreasonable to lose, but now it’s a must win because we have had years of losing to teams we should have crushed.

It’s funny because we were favored in all the games we lost. We are an underdog to Clemson

Problem I have is we get manhandled on the offensive and defensive lines against the opposing teams. Kelly we are so ready then watch a shitshow unfold right before our eyes. Kelly is on the hook this year especially after he came out and basically said this is our best roster since I have been here. Well 10 million dollar man SHOW US.

You guys dream up too much revisionist history with your purple and gold glasses on.
We haven’t had the better team in the first game of the season except in 2024 against USC and MAYBE 2022 against Florida State.
2020: 2020 LSU sucked donkey dick. Ed Orgeron was on permanent vacation mode after winning the 2019 natty.
2021: 2021 LSU was almost as bad as
2020 LSU, and UCLA was a pretty good team that year. They were much tougher and more physical than LSU in that game.
2022: We were pretty good but Florida State was decent too. It was Brian Kelly’s first game at LSU so he can have a pass here.
2023: 2023 Florida State was much better than 2023 LSU ( and no the meaningless bowl game against UGA where half of Florida State’s roster opted out does not mean anything)
2024: 2024 LSU was better than USC but not that much better. This is still one that Brian Kelly should have won. This one was unacceptable.
2025: 2025 LSU will have an elite roster so no excuses for Kelly this year.

If Kelly loses that game to Clemson, things are gonna get super toxic on here and then if the second loss comes before Alabama it’s gonna be post after post about “Fire Kelly”. I really hope for BK’s sake as well as the collective sanity of this fanbase that we win that first game.

USC was no where close to better . We have shite play calls, said frick Lacey after 6 straight catches . Can’t kick fgs can’t tackle .

The only one that really burned me up was the first game vs florida state. We had some REALLY bad decisions in that match up. We could have won that if he didn't make some really stubborn and awful calls. I think we went for a 4th n 5 at midfield when we weren't running well at all and it didn't even come close. The second game, they had the better roster, but in the first game, Kelly was outcoached.
