my dad had the exact model, same color too, no CB though, had one of those radios where you could call an operator and they'd make a phone call for you and connect you with your party

My mom gave me her old Squire to drive when I was at LSU. It was really fast (v8 if I remember correctly) and had a great eight-speaker JBL sound system. Objectively awesome, but subjectively uncool since it was the early 90s.

We had a white Ford Country Squire station wagon, white with wood paneling, exactly like this one. It did have the backward facing seat, and we did buy it because we were going on a cross country trip to California. I used to lay down in the back with my legs hanging out the back window...slept all the way across S. Dakota. If we got in an accident it would not have been a good time. Good times though.
If we didn't get the whitewalls clean enough when we were washing it we'd have to redo them.
Also, dad did have a CB and his handle was Ashkicker. He was a fire investigator/insurance adjuster so the name was kinda great.

My mom had the same station wagon except it was the burnt orange color. Think it had a 360 or 400 in it because it would do 110 mph.
