Half of the season in the books, 6.5 game lead in the division, 2.5 games back of the best record in the AL.

The Cocksuck signing?

The Diesel?

The veterans of the Astros welcoming Killa Cam into the inner circle following his game winner;

The Big Jon signing?

Let’s hand out some half season awards, what says you all?

Cy Young race is gonna be a good one.

Framber could be just outside of this group too without the 7 run blowup against the Cardinals.

And now, we’re back on American Top 40 with a special dedication from Kyle in Chicago to Jim in Houston.

Kyle says,

"Dear Casey,

I have a special message for my old boss, and just as importantly, a special friend.

‘Jim, our time together was something I'll never forget, filled with great memories. Leaving wasn’t personal—it was just business. I'll see you soon, and I hope we can share an Italian beef san...err..chips and salsa together. I'm buying.'

Casey, please play something for Jim that expresses my love for him and H-town."

To match that vibe, Kyle, we’re spinning a classic ‘80s anthem that fits perfectly—‘Money for Nothing’ by Dire Straits! Here it is for you, Jim, and keep reaching for the stars (but maybe not over-aged first basemen).

And then they will turn around and sweep the Dodgers. It's just the Astros way

I'll be at the Wednesday night game, 6 rows up from 1st base.

ETA: monsoon is starting to arrive next week. Expect evening rain, thunderstorms, delays each day. Thursday is a day game, so it might have a chance to finish before the weather pops up again.

We're due a total let down series. It's building and forming like a giant wave off the shore of Nazare.

If Lance's wittle pinky toe feels good you could be in for an all timer homer show with their lefties against LMJ though.

Joe is feeling his oats as a Manager of the Year candidate. Take some pitches, Yainer.
