Jrue probably either going to retire or end up on a contender somehow. I’m kind of disappointed we didn’t approach Portland with a similar trade for CJ.

Indy will do what it takes to resign Turner, but I'm not so sure about Maz getting properly paid. There's just not that many teams with cap space. We are going to see a lot of guys get squeezed this off-season and probably be forced to sign one year deals in order to get back onto the market.

Also, wtf is Dallas doing? Cooper is ultimately going to be a 4 in the nba and AD is a 5. You lucked out and got Flagg. It is time to cut the bullshite with AD and him not wanting to play the 5 and tell him tough tits, because every resource and move going forward should be to maximize Flagg's potential. Not to mention they still have Lively. What they should do is consider trading AD

I believe Flagg is going to play SF a lot and end up more of a 3/4, depending on the match-up.

I think they are more about asset collection now and not losing pieces. They have a few pieces that have value and they want to keep flexibility. With Irving out, they have to find a lead guard. I saw they were targeting Lonzo Ball. But I'm sure there are others..

I’m curious to see how much NAW is going to get.

I can't imagine Portland is wanting to keep Jrue, or that he wants to stay there.

He'll end up in Denver or Golden State.
Jrue for MPJ makes a ton of sense.

I dunno. There's always the "young team needs veteran leadership" angle like why we acquired CJ.

I doubt he wants to be there but that was a pretty strong offer just to get someone to then trade them. Pretty aggressive move giving up Simons and two picks.

I feel like the nba fan base has really lost their way at times. Jrue Holiday is a massively better player than Simons. Period, the end. Great trade for Portland. My only question is…..who starts and how do they manage rotations. Scoot, Sharpe, Jrue, Camara, Deni, Grant, Ayton, Clingan, Williams etc.

Obviously they aren’t done, just so curious what their end game is here.

I feel like the NBA as a whole has lost its way. I love the game but my interest has waned greatly . Part of that is admittedly Pels specific but the quality of the game has deteriorated , pride in team has gone out the window so there in limited longevity of Star players on a team . The league has favored headlines and drama over the on court product .

Now get off my lawn .

part of it is the CBA for punishing teams that draft well and can't afford to keep their guys for long. it adds parity but at the same time its less likely star players stay on teams their whole careers.

This seemed to strictly be a money saving trade. Boston is trying to lower their tax bill to get under the second apron. I believe they’re saving 40-45 mil on this trade alone.

Between he and Zion, we may get a full 82 games collectively

I like the gamble for Atlanta but that's a bit steep considering Boston has no leverage. I guess that's the price to dump Mann's contract.
