And that's why you wait until after the finals to make that trade with IND

Haliburton is gone next year and that pick might be high.

Dumars masterclass

In arguably a better draft class too

There was absolutely no reason to make that trade when we did. None

They're good enough to make the playoffs without him unless they willingly tank. But Pels luck does continue.

Silver lining is the East is really bad. They’ll probably make playoffs without him

Yup. It was dumb on the Pacers end to make the trade knowing the Pelicans luck. As soon as that trade happened, you knew their star player would get injured. Injuries even happen to the other teams players when it hurts the Pelicans.

I said it at the time. This trade would have been there at draft night. Why the frick would you not wait

They have both Nembhard and McConnell. I think they are still going to be a top 8 team.

Agree. An amateur would have waited. Instead, we have Dumars.

It would probably still end up traded before that plays out just at a higher value.

Yup. Griff is a retard and I don’t think he even makes that trade until the draft.

Absolutely no reason to not wait until the draft. That pick definitely holds more value now even if he wanted it to move up. This is worse than the trade Loomis made a few years ago jumping into the first a week before the draft started.

Yes, which means the Pacers will pick between 5-12 next season. Fire Dumars now can’t believe he kept Willie as well.

If the pacers stay healthy sans Haliburton they will absolutely not be picking in that range.

Very well could be, but the East is weak as can be. Idk why they won’t be at least a 6th seed.
