If anything this title was more impressive than a lot of the previous ones.

Best team defense that LSU has ever had. I know it wasn’t easy but this feels like the most anti dramatic, easiest won title of all of them

This team grew together and got stronger every weekend. Had a great group of characters, overcame adversity, learned to play the game needed that day to win and were outstanding defensively. Love this team.

Horrible take. This team may not have as many MLB players as some other NC teams but they won a ton of close games in crunch time. You should be ashamed of yourself for starting this thread.

In fairness, it doesn’t appear that any team hit very well in Omaha this year. But it’s crazy that CCU hit two homers and LSU had exactly one fly ball that made it to the fence.
