With conventional offense and defense,

Iran armed and supported the Oct 7 massacre in Israel

Iran armed and supported Hesbollah waging war from Syria and Lebanon

Iran armed and supported the Houthis to attack shipping in the gulf of Aman.

And what has it cost us to defend that????

They did that without nukes. And the world allowed it.

If they get nukes, they become untouchable, and that arming and support of terrorist regimes increases exponentially.

Is that what you all want?

They had 50 years to behave. History has shown that ignoring and appeasing them only emboldens them (thanks Obama and Biden)

Israel has waged war and done the heavy lifting. If all it takes to remove that invincibility for a generation is a few B2 bombers over Fordow, hell yeah.

That’s an easy decision. And that’s what Trump sees long term.

So long as it doesn't envolve us rebuilding the country im leaning toward wiping out the regime and destroying their nuclear program completely.

You’ve seen this before.

You’ve seen how this ends.

And yet, you still want to do that again.

The only explanation is that you’re just fricking stupid.

How do they manage to fool you dimwits, every time?

No, you've never seen an America First president commit troops, only globalists. Your argument assumes Trump is no different than Bush, but all the evidence contradicts that.

A nuclear Iran, as President Donald Trump has said for decades, is a threat not just to Israel but to the West. A nuclear-armed Iran could easily take control of vital waterways ranging from the Red Sea to the Strait of Hormuz; it could threaten American allies ranging from Israel to the United Arab Emirates to Jordan to Saudi Arabia while pursuing destabilizing terror uprisings; it could even use a nuclear umbrella, with improved intercontinental ballistic missiles, to threaten Europe or the United States directly if it sought to do so.

And the first rule of a rational foreign policy is to take seriously geopolitical enemies when they threaten your destruction openly, every single day.

quote:

Yet some on the American political right seem disturbed by Israel's success. Some worry, inaccurately but understandably, that America might be drawn into a broader nation-building operation in Iran -- something that Trump certainly will not do and that Israel has not requested. Even if Trump were to authorize a series of strikes on the Iranian underground nuclear facility at Fordow, that would not amount to an Iraq-like nation-building operation; it would far more clearly resemble Trump's heroic vaporization of Iranian terror-master Qassem Soleimani in 2020.

We'll never commit ground forces to Iran. We wouldn't need to. If our only goal is to destroy nuclear enrichment sites, we can easily do that from the air. Israel has already done the heavy lifting in that regard by taking out a vast majority of their air defenses. A few B-2 passes and we're done.

I don’t think our bunker buster bomb is capable of going as deep as irans underground bullshite . Which means we wouldnt accomplish what we set out to accomplish without some kind of extra military action . I think Trump is ok with using a bunker buster IF it is going to work . I don’t believe the military generals can give him that assurance .

“ Hey General , can you guarantee this will work .? “
Well , we think it will Mr President

“If it doesn’t I am firing your arse “

Well we aren’t 100 % sure , Sir .

I think they know it won’t work because it’s too deep . Trump is trying to use the threat of a bunker buster to get a deal because if we drop one and it doesn’t work it’s going to look bad

Maybe the seeming delay is due to efforts going on behind the scene to modify the weapon to fit a certain set of circumstances/parameters.

There are concerns it won't work. And that's coming from Trump officials within the government that are looking into this very issue.

But the defense officials who received the briefing were told that using conventional bombs, even as part of a wider strike package of several GBU-57s, would not penetrate deep enough underground and that it would only do enough damage to collapse tunnels and bury it under rubble.

The defense officials were also told that to completely destroy Fordow, which Israeli intelligence estimates to go down as far as 300ft, it would likely require the US to first soften the ground with conventional bombs and then ultimately drop a tactical nuclear weapon from a B2 bomber.

If it’s such an easy decision why have we waited until now to consider bombing them?

Because there are pretty obvious ramifications of doing so

You know this but the other guy clearly doesn't

So, you were dumb enough to think you were buying beachfront property in Thibodaux. I am sorry but you are stuck with it.

This is right on. President Trump is not like past Presidents. Trump is a human hand grenade and will do what HE thinks is best. I think he is highly suspicious of IC input and advice for better or worse. I can see him bombing any and all known nuclear sites in one or two nights, and pulling back. Even minimal if any response to Iranian retaliation of US bombing.

I'm wondering if the new 2 week thing is for Iran to deplete their missile stockpile while they're still focused on Israel

If we attack now they might attack our bases in the region. It might be better for them to exhaust their supply of missiles on Israel before making a move. Just a thought. I'm not exactly Sun Tzu over here.

Israel has been disturbing the middle eastern countries and causing destabilization on purpose since its inception in 1948’ish.

It’s on purpose and it’s tied to the Federal Reserve Money printing machine.

They can’t launder the kind of money they need to feed their greed and deep state dark money ops (aka child trafficking; drug business etc) without the money laundering thru what they think are legit causes SUCH AS ENDLESS WARS AND LIFETIME ENEMIES.

They created all these Muslim extremwist groups to destabilize the entire region and they just go from one country to the next. Because the Middle East was and is the easiest target in the world for such.

Iran was doing fine before the deep state created rhe regime Chan he a to extremist policies.

Persian Iran was AWESOME! Thus, they had to destroy it and make them the career enemy #1

Frick all this war crap. Take out the Ayatollah, free the women from wearing curtains & stop all the nuclear Armageddon BS.

Just like Iraq’s “Weapons of Mass Destruciton”

How many times are some of you idiots going to fall for the same tricks?
