Considering slavery ended in Delaware where the last slaves were freed, after the end of the civil war, makes you wonder what Delaware thinks about Juneteenth.

If you want to do a holiday for the end of slavery, it should been when the 13th was ratified.

Louisiana, (except the Parishes of St. Bernard, Plaquemines, Jefferson, St. John, St. Charles, St. James Ascension, Assumption, Terrebonne, Lafourche, St. Mary, St. Martin, and Orleans, including the City of New Orleans)

What makes it really dumb is that it is supposed to be about the end of slavery when in fact it was not. There were still slaves in parts of the CSA that had no union troops and there were still 3 slave states in the Union. The day they should have picked would be Dec 6, the day they ratified the 13th amendment.
The reality is, woke white girls were crying about Juneteenth back in 2018 and after the St. Floyd was killed for, you know, being black (lol), the Biden progs running things needed to emote their guilt by buying into the Juneteenth thing.
We should get rid of most of the holidays we have now.....honestly only government workers and banks get them off. Make it just 4, July 4th, Memorial day and add constitution day, 17 Sep, and thanksgiving.
