What are you guys wearing on long domestic/international flights? I'm looking for a comfortable set to take with me to Japan later this year.

I just use my Airpods along with an Airplay to connect to the TV. I hate cords.

I always want something that can be cordless / bluetooth and connect via a cord to in-seat entertainment that don't have bluetooth connectivity available.

I use these on anything over 2 hours and under two hours I just use my regular sport / running earbuds and use my phone or macbook for entertainment.

That's what I'm looking for. Much appreciated. I wanted something cordless but also the ability to connect to the screen later on.

Jbl tune 520 bt for a SOLID budget pair of headphones (50ish bucks ). Tranya T3 for in ear earbuds. (30-40ish). I love mine and they’ve lasted a long while. I was gifted some AirPods but I almost never use them because I like the cheapos better.

I just rock airpods... I attempted to do the over the ear headphones thing and found the space they take up in my bag more obnoxious than any quality difference.

If you travel carry-on only, some of the higher end headsphones cases are HUGE.

To each his own.

I've never used my case once..it sits in my desk and just holds the cords / cables. I use the straps on the side of my bag to secure it until I am about to board then I just throw them around my neck until I sit. My personal item / backpack also has side straps but in the rare instance I don't use either of those bags I just use a carabiner and clip the headphones to that.

Is your Veria backpack 20L or 35?

I'm looking at the specs online- worried 35 may be too large for what I need

I'm traveling with a work backpack that more sleek. If I was traveling with a duffle or a oversize backpack like that then maybe.

I went with the 35l as a carry-on and that thing fits ALOT. I wanted something to eliminate a personal item but also large enough to use as a carry-on for ski and golf trips. Something big enough to hold my ski helmet, goggles, gloves, ski bib, ski jacket and a base layer while also being able to conveniently carry my macbook so I can get to it easily and eliminate anything down by my feet.

Id throw a carabiner right there on the top strap / handle and let the headphones hang. But for a work trip or something short I just use earbuds anyway.

I can't wear the small airpod types for hours. Starts to hurt my ears.

I got these off Amazon that are headphones. still can plug them in if needed. I've used them for 8+ hours without needing a charge.
and since they are $20 i don't really care if i break them. They fold up enough to fit in my carry on and not take up much space, and you could just stick them somewhere hanging on the backpack if needed.
They work just fine and can hear perfectly with them.

Because they were used/remanufactured? They were re-conditioned and clean, otherwise I never would have gone that route.

I didn't want to deal with over ear or on ear cans because of their size. The eartips included with the Bose are pretty soft and don't irritate me.

Bose noise canceling is a must for long flights… but over the ear on flights to India/Taiwan/Middle East just end up hurting and keep me from sleeping comfortably.

I’ve been using Bose QuietComfort 20 for about 10 years. Yes, they are wired - but I can deal with that better than looking for a wireless bud popping out in my sleep and falling into the cracks if the seat.
