Where does last night rank in terms of craziest LSU baseball moments/wins?

Warren Morris walk off for the CWS win…just because it won the title still has to rank at the top
Tommy Tanks walkoff vs WF in extra innings
This bottom of the 9th…everything from Ark missing a sure double play, missing the catch in the outfield, final jared jones swing off the glove.
The other singularly rank higher but I can’t think of a crazier bottom of the 9th inning.

The UC Irvine comeback has to be up there

I think the way that it played out, with all the errors on both sides, and then the complete meltdown by them in the 9th....it may have been the craziest game ever, with the implications on the line that there were.
Some of the other games more dramatic, with Morris, White, etc...but those were made on great plays, not bizarre plays.....
As Kyle said in the postgame wrap-up for ESPN, this is a game he will remember for a long time.
You are talking 3 bad plays in bottom of ninth (1st base, SS, LF), I don't put the last one as a bad play, it was just out of reach for the 2nd baseman by a CH.

Was it against Rice or UNC with Blake Dean’s hit off the wall that scored 3 and won the game in Omaha ‘08?

The last 2 innings are incredible. Instant classic and hard to top the craziness of those two innings to end a game. It’s all time.

#2 behind uc irvine at the box imo.

It’s about 7th all time.
Go watch the top of the 9th vs Cal Irvine when staring at losing the last game ever at the original Alex Box
LSU has two walk offs in the championship game where things looked bleak.

Brad Cresse walk off in 2000 has to be on the list

Walker walkoff to get to ‘93 championship game after they intentionally walk Russ Johnson to get to Walker was special

2 years ago with the tre Morgan play game and Tommy’s walk off. Then you have Pearson’s catch vs Florida. And that’s just 2 years ago. The list goes on. It’s top 10. But recency bias will have people put way too high until a few years down the road.

If 2023 LSU had Arkansas’ left fielder we would have been runner ups.

Craziest was last night for sure, not sure that will ever be topped

Baseball is such a great sport man. Sports in general are just awesome. I do understand the "its just a game played kids you don't know" people, but if you ever played the sport and understand its intricacies and gamesmanship, its unbelievable to watch! And LSU has definitely given us many many great moments!
The Tre Morgan bunt coverage is up there for me. It's both clutch and wild since that was not his assignment on that play, just pure in the moment instinctive clutch, amazing play

Crazy, but also some stupidity.
No way, I pitch to bear in that situation with first base open.
Put him on, set up the final out of the inning at all three bases, face anyone but bear.

That was against Long Beach State, if my memory serves me correctly!! I think the LBS win in '93 was also from a 5-3 deficit.
I just googled the "93 game and, crazy enough, LSU scored 2 to tie it on a double with runners at 1st and 2nd, similar to last night. Also, both wins put LSU into the finals.
Like Jared Jones said when asked about the 9th inning rally last night: "LSU Baseball"
Gotta love our Tigers!!
