Is it considered a “slump” when it’s against nearly every good pitcher he’s faced all year?

Kramer looks like the Silence of the Lambs serial killer.

Did you know that's actually Karl Malone's son as well? and his other dad is offensive coordinator for the Saints. His 3rd dad is Randy Moss too.

He needs to stop playing like 2 people and become one.

What are his recent stats at the top of the lineup?

He struck out 5 times in the 3-hole in Saturday. You don’t have to call that a slump but it’s awful and can’t continue if this team is going to win it all.

During the Supers, Jones just tried to make contact and was solid. Now he’s back to old form and trying murder everything.

gaeckle is the absolute worst matchup possible for bear. very very good and tight slider to righties.

it won't be that bad again today

his best pitch is what Jones struggles with. I feel like he goes yard today or at least one double.

He is simply pulling left out of the pitch. IF the pitch is from the middle to the outside of the plate, he can't reach it and if he does, it is a weak of the end of the bat contact. If it is on the outside corner, he pulls so much left, the bat cannot reach the ball. It is weird that he isn't trying to hit those pitches to right field like he did early in the season.
Regarding his 5-13 hits, 2-3 of those were pop ups that were not caught and he got credit for hits.....he is not driving the ball like earlier in the year, and I don't think it is because of better pitching. I think it is all because of his hitting technique or approach.

We beat the highest rated team left in the tournament (and the betting favorite to win it all, until we beat them) 4-1 with him going 0-5. Why exactly can't we win it all if we keep winning 4-1?

LSU just beat the highest seeded team left and the CWS favorite with Jones worst performance of his career. I’d say they could still possibly win it all even if Jones struggles.

It’s not all on him.
