Not at all, honestly

As bad as we were offensively, they were worse

Pitching dominated

I knew LSU would win, thought Arky would have more hits

No...surprised the arkie bats were so anemic and our 1, 2, 3 were abysmal

New to Omaha? Happens all the time. The best of the best is here and typically, it's a pitcher's advantage. Especially one of the best bullpens in the SEC alongside shadows over the plate giving pitchers an advantage.

The strength of our team is what? Pitching and defense, we are also playing in a huge ball park. I hoped the game would favor us

I agree, Anderson is a beast but I didn’t think I would see that..

I thought Kade had a good chance of shutting their bats down and figured it would be low scoring. I didn’t expect arky to implode in the 2nd and that basically to be the game.

Better than. Anderson got hit pretty good the other day and Arky can hit. He brought his A game tonight against a good hitting team. Pitching too. I hope we don’t play them again but we do have the upper hand now.

No. Didn’t expect Root to get pulled in the second, for sure.

I figured at least one home run with that many runs

If LSU was going to win this is about what I thought. Low scoring, manufacture a few runs, and play great defense. Had the Arky bats been loud I don't think LSU would have kept up.

But really that's the formula every game from here on out for LSU in this park.

Thought it would be low scoring tight game. Was surprised Arkie didn’t put more pressure later in the game.

Huge win. Anderson huge. And shores/Evans both looked great too

Was very surprised by Root. Have a feeling he bounces back and shuts down whoever he faces next.

Shores first pitch rattled my confidence.

I had 6-5 LSU. Thought Arkie would hit better but got shutdown by Anderson.
