The Dem Pivot on the MN Shooter

Since this story has not been tied to Trump and Walz has not mentioned Trump in his speeches today, I'm going to assume the reports of the alleged shooter being a Walz appointee are accurate.
The predictable Dem pivot in two seconds will be to totally ignore the individual shooter's name, background and political history. It will immediately become a very generalized discussion about "the horrors of gun violence."

They’re in a little bit of a bind.
Pros:
The shooter is a white man, and that’s typically the kickoff criteria for any anti-gun propaganda blitz.
The victims have Ds after their names. Fuel for the fire.
Cons:
The shooter is a Walz appointee and should be a little untouchable because of that. For example, if he shot and missed they’d cover it up.
The victims voted against party line and might be fair game for marxists because of that.
The propaganda outlets have to wait for marching orders from their masters.
My opinion: I’m impressed that a Dem operated a firearm correctly and accurately.
