Ok, I'm old and have occasional senior moments, so maybe I missed it, or just haven't paid attention, but...
Scott Bessent is openly gay? Reading this yesterday was the first time I had seen that.

Contrast that with how the fact that Pete Buttigieg being gay was thrown in people's faces as part of his narrative right from the beginning...being gay, his relationship with his partner, being absent from his DOT job for family leave, blah blah blah. It's like the media had to give Biden and the Democrats virtue signaling points for elevating Buttigieg.
But Bessent? Not a peep...at least that I've seen. Like I said though, maybe I've just missed it. And really, that's the way it should be.

He is gay. I think he and his "partner" have a child.
I could care less. He doesn't make him being gay an issue, therefore it's not an issue. He's doing a great job and is masterful with financial and economic issues. We're lucky to have him.

Not only did Buttabutt take extended family leave, for his "wife" "having" their baby, but he took 2+ weeks off right in the middle of the nation-wide supply chain problems. Big photo op picture spread of he & his wife laying in a hospital bed, both gowned, holding their baby in their arms. Like it was the most normal thing in the world.

The gay hating, gay bashing Trump actually is the President who's had the 2 highest ranking gay people in US History. Bessent in this term, and Ric Grinnell as Director of National Intelligence in the first admin.
